Woo hoo West River was awesome! I want to go back
sooo much!! Haha ok.
The first night: we just sat around and talked
and played odd games but it was so much fun. (It was rainging all weekend)
The second day: after breakfast we went into the
woods and acted like we were pilgrims and had to build these houses. haha funfunfun hey melissa and dan! hows your babies?!
Lol :-p Then we went to the cabin and just hung out until lunch. After lunch we played ULTIMATE FRISBEE! (in the rain) it
was freezing and it turned into just throwing each other into the huge mud puddles (i was only thrown in once, by dan) and
sliding through the mud. Great fun. Then we went back to the cabin and hung out. Lauren and I started doing our karate stuff
and we did it for the talent show (which was hilarious). Ok part of it was a skit from the YL Retreat. Jess would sit in the
chair and Bill would walk out struttin his stuff and sit down next to her and try to get clsoe and all and try to put his
arm around her (Pastor Mark: "if you ever put your arm around my daughter again!") Then the cupid (Dan dressed up in sheets)
would come out.. shoot and arrow at Jess... she'd fall in love with Bill... cupid would get jealous... shoot Bill.. and walk
off with Jess. It was so funny. Then we all sang worship songs, went back to the cabin, and watched Left Behind II. Yep thats
all.
The Third Day: we went to breakfast, packed, and
played sumo! Haha ok its when theres a person standing in the middle with groups of 2 people each (one person sits in front
of the other person between their legs) on the outside forming a circle. The person in the middle has to turn around in a
circle and stop on a group and when your picked the person in the front has to try to get to the person in the middle while
the person behind them has to try to keep them from getting there.... GREAT fun. Then we went to lunch, after lunch played
sumo in the dinning hall.. and left. Wooo hooo great weekend! (I wore Dan's hat a lot hehehehe )
